Klimax DSM 2021

The new Klimax DSM combines decades of audio engineering and innovation. Exquisitely machined from solid aluminium, which provides vital isolation from external interference, and sitting at the heart is Linn’s all Oganik DAC architecture.

Organik has been designed without compromise and is entirely manufactured in-house, enabling precise control and optimisation at every stage of the digital to analogue conversion process. Offering significantly lower noise and distortion and measuring better than anything Linn has achieved prior, Organik’s highly accurate re-creation of the original source will bring you closer to your music than ever before.

The new Klimax DSM features a precision-cut glass dial, a large high-res screen for hands on control and both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth functionality. The six buttons on the front fascia are customisable, allowing you instant access to your favourite radio station, album or playlist, streaming service, podcast; the choice is yours. 

Analogue, digital, and wireless connectivity adds 24-bit 384khz streaming and DSD256 as supported audio formats. There is also the option to connect directly to your computer for the ultimate stand-alone DAC.

Included with the Klimax DSM, and all Linn network music players, is Space Optimisation.

Space Optimisation uses sophisticated acoustic modelling to build up a complete picture of how your speakers, their placement, and the unique characteristics of your room interact to affect the sound you hear. It then precisely identifies frequencies that are artificially distorted by your environment, and reduces their energy, to reveal the music that would otherwise be hidden.
